Something was afoot on James Street yesterday and we were all very curiously looking at it fromour third floor window. Some guy with a very official looking clipboard was among the crowd. :-)

I know this kind of looks like a "Christmas Picture" but it isn't. It's simply a candle in front of some shiny fabric just because I love bokeh and I am going to take bokeh pictures until I get sick of it. And also because I couldn't think of anything to shoot and then I saw this shiny fabric and spent three hours trying to photograph a red candle in front of it only to finally be so underwhelmed by it that I decided to see if something more contrasty would be better and after only two takes of this I decided that yes... contrast is a lot better.

I love eating out of containers. One of the major reasons I love Chinese food is because you get to eat it out of a box. But now that Mason jar meals are all the rage, I don't have to order in anymore. This one has a layer of rice, a layer of toasted almonds and a layer of spiced tofu.
