2014-01-29 Card - Thank You
January 29, 2014 • Leave a Comment
I made this card to give to Catherine to thank her for the lovely bouquet she sent me, and never got around to finishing it, so I had filed it away. Today I finally got around to embossing the sentiment, which is actually a Cricut cut. I just simply stamped over the whole thing with Versamark ink and embossed it with the heat gun. Simple and quick; much faster than putting any sort of medium on it, waiting for it to dry and watching it get all warped.
The background is stamped with pale tomato shadow ink from Hero Arts.
I know the flower looks like it's made of felt, but it's just cardstock. The super macro on my camera gets very close to the subject and really enlarges all the details.
