Another card using my now familiar technique of water washed paper, this time woven in strips. This time I made it by splashing water over the distress markers on my Tim Holtz work mat and then dipping the paper randomly on that. I used Spun Sugar and Aged Mahogany markers but this is the last "pressing" of paper so it's pretty watered down. The branches are from Jolee's Boutique by EK Success, and the stamp is "Blessing" from Stampendous. I simply stamped it with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet distress ink and didn't emboss it because it seemed a bit frivolous and I felt the messy look of distress ink complements the torn edges of the paper weave well.
