Card: Roses for Mom
February 07, 2014 • Leave a Comment
This card features what I like to call a "floating layer" or vellum. It is not really floating, as it is attached at the points where the glitter stickers are located, and I think there's glue behind the flowers as well, but as vellum cannot normally be glued in the regular way that would show through, there have been many inventive ways of attaching it.
My mom is celebrating her 73rd birthday so I'll be heading out to the florist to send her a big bouquet and will attach this card to it. She is an avid gardener, and I have a feeling she will enjoy this.
Well, it's been quite a week. Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe on the ice.
