Card: With Love

I have received a bunch of prompts and one of them was to work with crafters foam. Unfortunately you can't really see the foam on this as all I did was glue the heart onto a heart shaped piece of foam, so I guess this is technically a big fail.
This card was made with stencils that I cut out with my cricut from the Edge to Edge cartridge onto transparency sheets. I am loving that cartridge!
I stencilled on top of my multimedia paper with Tombow markers in yellow, hot pink, and orange to make several sheets of designer paper. I repositioned the stencils several times to create a random impressionistic look, and wet the page and wiped liberally with a baby wipe.
I then stencilled again on top of one of the background pieces with another stencil in the shape of a heart, using my Tsukineko Brilliance Platinum Planet ink. I then covered the heart with some Tim Holtz Frosted Film and stamped the sentiment on top of that with black StazOn.
I am not crazy about the card itself, but did enjoy the process of cutting the stencils and then using them to create some wonderful backgrounds. Next... more homemade stamps.
Thanks for looking. Take care out there.
